This is to encourage people to dare to dream, because you never know until you try; to face adversity, which we all face in one form or another, and keep on keepin' on; to do what they can and allow God to do what they can't.
The Serenity Prayer
This prayer, often repeated, is an originally untitled prayer by theologian Reinhold Niebuhr. It makes great sense to me, and whether you believe in God or not, I think it's a smart idea.
God, grant me the serenity
To accept the things I cannot change;
The courage to change the things I can;
And the wisdom to know the difference
I hope everyone has a safe and happy New Year's Eve and a prosperous 2012. May you have no unfinished business left over from 2011--no baggage, no hurts.
